Join Art Center Sarasota for 9 weeks of creative fun! ACS Summer Art Camp allows campers to explore their creativity, learn about art, and make original masterpieces that will be shared as part of a mini-exhibition on Friday afternoons for friends and family.

Lina Rincon, a Colombian-American contemporary artist with over 20 years of experience in teaching both children and adults. She expertly divides her time between crafting her own art and imparting her wisdom to young minds. Through her dedication, passion, and expertise, Lina fosters creativity and nurtures artistic expression in the next generation.

At Sarasota Art Museum's Summer Art Camps, your young artist will get a chance to look closely, experiment with new materials, and try new techniques with the Museum as their classroom! Each week, your camper can explore new themes, activities, and projects inspired by art and artists on view at Sarasota Art Museum. Our Teaching Artists will also work with your campers to install their very own Art Show!

I have taught fine art lessons to children ages 6 through high school by appointment both during the day (homeschoolers) and after school as well as on Saturdays and in summer art camps for over 20 years in Sarasota. I focus on creating realistic art with techniques and proper tool usage. I teach graphite, acrylic, colored pencil and mixed media with drawing being the foundation of all projects and our famous self portraits being the first project for students 8 and older.
