Ready or not, fall is upon us!  I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to doing all things fall festivals, pumpkins and maybe, just MAYBE putting on a sweater and some boots in October.  I hope you enjoy the annual fall events guide and that it helps plan out your fall family fun!



SEPT 30 BLAZE of HOPE's Annual FALL FEST This exciting event is packed with fun-filled activities for all ages. Get ready to test your skills and have a blast with a wide array of games that will keep you entertained throughout the day.  11AM-5PM

Sept 30 + Weekends in Oct Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Festival Enjoy feeding goats, fall treats, local vendors, hay rides, and pick out a pumpkin!  Children's Halloween Costume Contest every Saturday at 2pm.  10AM-5PM 

OCT 7 and 8 St Pete Fall Fest Kick off Fall the St. Pete way: with the only beach front fall festival featuring live music, family friendly entertainment & activities, Food, and the area's biggest Pumpkin Patch.  11AM-7PM

OCT 13 Fall Fest at CoreSRQ Come join us for our FREE Fall Fest Event. 6-8PM

OCT 13-15 Sarasota Rocktoberfest an authentic 3-Day Oktoberfest experience coupled with fantastic live musical performances to downtown Sarasota in JD Hamel Park. Admission to this family-friendly event is free! Fri 4-10PM, Sat 11AM-10PM, Sunday 11AM-6PM

OCT 13-14 CELTOBERFEST is back! Join the fun from Oct 13th-14th for beer, music, kilts, and Oktoberfest celebrations with a Celtic twist! Motorworks Brewing. 4PM Tickets start at $15

OCT 13 Goblin Gathering Little and big goblins are invited to gather for a better-than-ever free trick-or-treat and more event! This year we're adding more Halloween decorations, an animal experience and a haunted treat trail to the bounce houses and costume contest. Event entry and trick-or-treating is free. $5 WRISTBANDS will be sold for the bounce houses.5:30-8PM

Oct 13-31 Lights at Spooky Point Don’t miss the chance to see our Historic Spanish Point campus transformed into “Spooky Point” where you can follow an eerily lit path and encounter fantastic creations and bootanically-themed decorations along the way. Equal parts creepy, campy, and cute, this walk-through show is fun for all ages. $30 Adults/$15 kids. 6:30PM

OCT 14Fall Fest at First Brethren Church Come to our Fall Festival for the young and the young at-heart. There will be a bounce house, water slide, axe throwing, refreshments, and more. 2-6PM

OCT 14-15 Fall Fete Food Truck Rally  Live Music, Food Trucks, JEEP RALLY, Santa Claus, Photo Ops, Games, Kids’ Crafts, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Outdoor Street Fair, Indoor Artists & Vendors. NEARLY ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE! Admission is $6 and parking is FREE. Ages 14 and under are FREE 10– 4 PM

OCT 14-29 (Weekends) Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival  • Live Music • Live Shows • Pumpkins • Kid's Pumpkin Games •Pioneer Trades Village • Hayrides • Pony Rides • and so much more! 

OCT 15 "The Great Pumpkin Patch" will officially open on Sunday, October 15th, at 5PM.  We will have carnival games, hayrides, food trucks, and a Candy Maze!   Be the first in line to purchase your pumpkin and let's FEED EMPTY LITTLE TUMMIES. 5PM 

OCT 15 Community Fall Festival Enjoy music, games, treats, hayrides and more!  Fun for the whole family. 4-7PM 

OCT 19 Manatee County Sheriff's Office Spooktactical Night MCSO Units and community partners will have vehicles on display, demonstrations, activities for kids, food, and trick or treating at each unit's station from 5-8 p.m.

OCT 20 Arlington Park Haunted Trail Join us for frightfully fun games, tricks, and treats at our haunted trail carnival! Enjoy carnival-style games and spooky surprises along Arlington Park's half-mile walking trail. 

OCT 20 BOO at the Bay (The Bay Turns 1!) Join in on a not-so-scary evening filled with trick or treating, free pumpkin pickings, yard games, a double-feature movie night and more! 6PM-10:30PM

OCT 21 3rd Annual Fall Fest at UTC The Fall Festival Will Feature: Carnival Rides (Hours TBA) and a Pumpkin Patch

OCT 21 Fall Fest and Touch a Truck Come join us at our Fall Festival "Touch-A-Truck" event and get ready for a fun day filled with games and prizes. 3-5PM

OCT 22 Join us for our Boo Bash N’ Splash Family Swim! Halloween themed family swim.  3-5PM 


OCT 27 The Great Pumpkin Patch and Drive in Movie  Popcorn and snacks will be sold. Since you're going to be here at THE GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH OF PALMETTO you can buy a pumpkin and help feed a child here in Manatee County!!!  8-10PM

OCT 28 Howl-O-Ween Movie Night Spooktacular Enjoy children's games, activities, sensory area and photo opportunities in the stadium concourse and on the baseball field from 5-6:45 p.m., followed by the costume parade lead by The Oriole Bird, mascot for the Baltimore Orioles.  "The Nightmare Before Christmas", at 7PM. 

OCT 28 Fall Festival at Sarasota Polo Club The fall festival includes food trucks, face painting, games, candy, a bounce house and more! Adult-$25, Kid-$20 with a bracelet. Kids-$10 without a bracelet. Family 4 pack- $75. Bracelets at door $15

OCT 31 Harvest Festival Our Trunk & Treat setting allows you to walk around our parking lot and collect goodies and play games. We will also have Live Music and Bounce houses for your kids to enjoy. Venice Calvary Chapel Venice 5-8PM Please RSVP. 


Pumpkin Patches 

OCT 15-29 The Great Pumpkin Patch  BUY A PUMPKIN AND FEED EMPTY LITTLE TUMMIES! "The Great Pumpkin Patch" is a fundraiser, hosted by Forward Community Church, where all of the proceeds will go to help feed kids locally and nationally. This year our project will be supporting F.E.L.T. (Feeding Empty Little Tummies)

OCT 16- 31 Elwood Pumpkin Patch  Pick a pumpkin and enjoy family friendly events! 

OCT 7-16TH St Pete Pier Pumpkin Patch located at Family Park Hours vary daily

OCT 21 Annual Pumpkin Splash at Arlington Aquatic Center  Come take a swim and pick out your favorite pumpkin from our floating pumpkin patch. Bring your own supplies or use the decorations and carving tools provided. Registration Required!

OCT 21 Peace Presbyterian Pumpkin Patch Free parking and free admission. Select your pumpkins, explore our "not-so-spooky" path, enjoy kids games, bouncy house and face painting! Pumpkins, food and drink available for purchase, all kids events are free!  10AM-4PM

OCT 21-22 & 28-29 Pumpkin Patch Express The Pumpkin Patch Express is departing the station for a trip to the Museum’s very own pumpkin patch.Lots of activities are included with your ticket! Hay rides, arts and crafts, Lincoln log building, and games will be available. 11AM and 3PM



OCT 21 Trunk or Treat Come join us for our annual Trunk or Treat! This will be held on Saturday, October 21st from 5-7pm. We will have decorated themed cars, an indoor play center and lots of candy! This is a free event to our community.

OCT 21 Frightfully Fun Trick or Treat Calling all goblins and ghouls! Dress in your favorite costume* and follow the Trick-or-Treat Trail, scaring up goodies from your favorite stores along the way! 5:30-7:30

OCT 21 Trunk or Treat Come join us for our Annual Trunk or Treat!!! We will have Pulled Pork Sandwiches and other Goodies, NEW this Year we will have a 40 foot Inflatable Obstacle Course

OCT 21 Trunk or Treat is an evening full of fun games, decorated vehicles of all kinds of crazy styles, and lots of CANDY! Join us for this super fun family event, absolutely FREE and open to the public. Wear your most creative *child-friendly* costume, and BRING YOUR FRIENDS for an evening of fall fun for everyone! 5-7PM 

OCT 25 Trunk or Treat at Robert L Taylor Complex Kids of all ages will enjoy a safe and spooky evening filled with fun, games, and candy! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and trunk decorations.  5-7PM

OCT 26 Trick or Treat at the Lake  Join us for a special evening of trick-or-treating the whole family will enjoy! And it's FREE! $10 for parking

OCT 27 LWR BooFest join us for family-friendly fun including entertainment, food and drink vendors, and more. 6PM-9PM

OCT 28 Halloween Dragon Egg Hunt This year, we're bringing back Snuffy's famous HALLOWEEN DRAGON EGG HUNT! Put on your costumes and join us on Saturday, October 28th for a magical scavenger hunt and find your own dragon eggs with treasure and candy inside! The hunt begins at 10:00am sharp - How quickly can you find the dragon's eggs? As a special treat, Sarasota Ben and Jerry's will be handing out FREE SCOOPS at the garden starting at 10am while supplies last.

OCT 27 Trick or Treat at City Center Join in the fun as City of North Port staff and a variety of community partners line the City Center Green with kid-friendly Halloween displays and plenty of candy to fill trick-or-treaters bags. Anyone looking for a low-sensory offering can join us at 4:30 p.m. North Port 5-8PM

OCT 28 Boo at the Bazaar Trick or Treat with us and the princesses from Belle's Princess Parties! More than 20 stops to visit. Plus, lots of surprises and activities. We don't care your age - just come in your Halloween costume and have fun with us. It's our favorite holiday!

OCT 28 Venice YMCA Trunk or Treat Bring your little ghouls and goblins dressed in their best costumes and prepare for an evening of candy, games, and community spirit. Decorate your car trunk in a spooky theme and hand out treats to all the trick-or-treaters.


OCT 28 Trick or Treat at the Bradenton Public Market will be celebrating Halloween at the Market – a family-friendly event that includes trick or treating, vendors, face painting Manatee School for the Arts Academic Team, a dance performance by Slick Motion Studios, and more. 9AM-2PM

OCT 28 Trick or Treat Old Manatee This year, local businesses around the area will be opening their doors to trick-or-treaters of all ages.


OCT 28 Trunk or Treat Come join us for the 4th annual trunk n' treat. A safe place to bring the kids!!!!! Have some fun and get some candy.  4:30-7PM

OCT 28 Trunk or Treat at Dakin Dairy Come out and join us for some Trick or Treating Farm style!! We will have Food trucks, Farm animals and all kinds of fun! FREE -Everyone is welcome!! 5-8PM

OCT 28 Bedrock Church Trunk or Treat Prepare for a delightful evening of family fun, delicious food from food trucks, an exhilarating rock wall, and a bouncy adventure in the bounce house.

OCT 28 Drive thru Trick or Treat Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is pleased to announce its Fourth Annual Halloween Drive-Thru on Saturday, October 28, from 6 - 8 p.m., at the agency’s Sarasota headquarters.

OCT 31 Siesta Key Safe Treats Bring your little ones to trick-or-treat with Siesta Key businesses. Look for participating businesses displaying festive balloons. This FREE event provides a safe venue for children to trick-or-treat and is a fun afternoon for the entire family. 3-6PM

OCT 31 Downtown Venice Children's Costume Parade and Trick or Treating Show off your costume in the annual Children’s Halloween Parade. Kids are welcome to trick or treat at nearby businesses. Parade starts at 4:30PM

OCT 31 Candy Carnival A fun fall event for the whole family! Kids of all ages can Trunk or Treat (costumes welcome), go on a Hayride, and visit the Petting Zoo! 6-8:30PM

OCT 31 The 26th Annual SafeWalk Don't miss the Englewood Community SafeWalk on Dearborn Street for trick or treating! 5-7PM
