While the leaves in Sarasota may not be dropping, fall events are! Check out your one stop Fall Guide to stay in the know on fall festivals, trick or treating, and pumpkin patch outings!

OCT 2-3, 9-10, 16-17 and 30-31  Fruitville Grove's 33rd Annual Pumpkin Festival  Food Truck Rally, Craft Show, Live Music, Kids Fun Zone (with zip line), Hold a Skunk, Pony Rides, Mini Train Ride, Hay Rides, Hug-A-Goat, Wildflower Maze, Enchanted Unicorn Encounter, Butterfly Garden Experience, Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, and more to do throughout the day!  10AM-5PM

OCT 1-3, 8-10, 15-17  Funtoberfest at Sun n Fun Enjoy a weekend of family fun at our Fall Carnival, painting pumpkins or take a hay ride! And the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down! We'll have a dive in movie, live music and BOTH our Haunted House & Haunted Trail!   *Events subject to change. All activities weather permitting*  $10 admission.

OCT 9TH- NOV 30TH Nathan Benderson's Annual Hay Maze - Right next door to the playground. Kids will have a blast playing in this self guided hay maze.  Perfect for fall photo ops!

OCT 2ND  Fall Festival hosted by Scavenger's Marketplace - Come out to support food trucks and local makers!  9AM-2PM

OCT 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, 29-30.  Desoto County Fair Fall Festival  Enjoy live entertainment, a Kids Corner, games, a haunted maze, selfie stations, a pumpkin patch, spook yard and more. Fridays 7PM to 12AM, Saturdays 4PM to 12AM (Oct 30 is 3PM to 12AM and will feature a walk-through trick or treat), Spook Yard starts at 8PM!

OCT 9TH Pumpkin Story time  Join Fable Books in Venice to hear fun pumpkin themed stories and make new pumpkin friends. Celebrate autumn before it's gone! 

OCT 10  Fall into Fun with Girl Scouts at Camp Honi Hanta Together with our amazing program partners and sponsors, take a journey through camp and enjoy your choice of hand-on activities and experiences. With a focus on our four program pillars—entrepreneurship, life skills, outdoor, and STEM, there will be something of interest for all ages!This event is open to everyone. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors!  10AM-3PM

OCT 15TH Goblin Gathering at GT Bray Park  Bring the family out and join in the costume contest, face painting, and bounce houses. A $5 wristband is sold for children to participate in activities. Parental participation and trick-or-treating is free. Food vendors will have food for purchase.

OCT 15TH-31ST (select days) Halloween Notte at Port Charlotte Farigrounds  A Halloween Festival at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds!  Every Friday through Sunday October 15-31.  Hours: Fridays: 4pm-Midnight, Saturdays and Sundays: 11am-Midnight. Family friendly by day and scary at night.


OCT 16TH Fall Festival at The Meadows Country Club  Join us for our annual Fall Festival at The Meadows Country Club. Open to all.  Enjoy lots of fall fun, games, inflatables, crafts, biergarten, pumpkin patch, and a golf cart hay ride!  11AM-2PM


OCT 16TH and 17TH  American Vintage Markets: Falling for Vintage  Inspired by the love of vintage and handmade, American Vintage Markets is pleased to bring together a wide array of carefully curated vendors who will showcase their best re-cycled, re-purposed, and re-imagined treasures.  Admission: $8. Saturday 10AM-5PM, Sunday 10AM-4PM

OCT 16TH-31ST  Hunsader's Annual Pumpkin Festival   Live Music, Pumpkins, Kid's Pumpkin Games, Pioneer Trades Village, Hayrides, Pony Rides • Corn Maze $2, Food Galore, Petting Zoo and lots more!  Saturday and Sunday 9AM-5PM

OCT 22ND Core SRQ Fall Fest Join us for family friendly activities: hay rides, face painting, field games, photo booth, food trucks and trunk or treating.  5-8PM


OCT 23RD PEACE PUMPKIN PATCH Featuring pumpkins for sale, bouncy house, not-so-spooky path, face painting plus a Halloween-themed organ concert at 2pm and 4pm. Most attractions and parking are FREE!  (Organ concert is free for children and donation based for adults)  12PM-6PM

OCT 23 Halloween Story time  Stop in to hear about the Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything and other witchy stories. Then dance to the song!  Fable Books (Venice) 11AM

OCT 23RD  Howl-O-Ween Night SpooktaculaEnjoy children's games, activities and photo opportunities in the stadium concourse and on the baseball field from 5-6:30 p.m.  The movie begins at 7 p.m., featuring "The Addams Family," 

OCT 23 Grace Community Church's Pumpkin Festival Grace’s Bee Ridge Campus will be transformed into a pumpkin patch with hayrides, food trucks, and FREE pumpkins. This Pumpkin Festival has tons of rides and attractions including a Toddler Bounce House, Corn Mazes, a Mechanical Bull, and MORE!


OCT 23RD AND 24TH FALL FESTIVAL AT UNIVERSITY TOWN CENTER Happening on October 23rd & 24th in the back parking lot of The Mall at UTC.  Our Fall Festival will feature:
Carnival Rides, Pumpkin Patch benefitting local Non-Profit, Food Trucks, Vendors, Costume contest and a TRUNK OR TREAT  4PM-6PM 

OCT 23-24 and 30  Southern Magnolia Acres Pumpkin Patch - Enjoy a pumpkin patch, food trucks, vendors, face painting, pumpkin painting, games and more.  Free admission.  10AM to 2PM.

OCT 23 and 24  Oscar Scherer State Park - Haunted Trails Drive Thru  The Haunted Trails at Oscar Scherer State Park will be a drive through haunt this year. An event that is fun for the whole family. Featuring multiple stations along the parks dark road filled with props and plenty of scare and treats along the way.  

OCT 24TH  Block Party Harvest United Methodist Church  There will be outdoor fun for everyone including several food trucks, games for all ages, music, a photo booth, and a petting zoo on campus! You will also have an opportunity to tour Just Grow.

OCT 26TH  NBP Trick or Treat on the Lake Join us for a special evening of trick-or-treating the whole family will enjoy! Moved this year to Regatta Island, not only will parking be simpler, but there will be an area for interactive play, you'll find storytelling and music, and — of course! — CANDY! Candy stations will be staffed by businesses and organizations from around the area. It'll be a great time once again, so join us!  5:30PM-8:30PM

OCT 27 Trunk or Treat at Colonial Baptist Church  Enjoy a safe trunk or treat, bounce houses and lots of candy.  Free.  6:30PM to 8:30PM.

OCT 29TH-31ST Trick or Treat at Fable Books  Celebrate Halloween weekend at Fable Books. Stop in Friday, Saturday, or Sunday for a Halloween goodie bag. If you come in wearing your costume, prepare for an extra prize!

OCT 29TH-31ST  Tommy's Express Car Wash Tunnel of Terror (North Port)  A spooktacular experience for the family. Plus, your car will leave looking boo-tiful! 7PM-10PM

OCT 29TH Trunk or Treat at Westside Christian Church  Kids can Trick or Treat in a safe and contained environment collecting tons of candy and fun treasures. You can also check out our face-painting AND balloon animal tent along with creative crafts for kids.

OCT 30TH BOO! Trick or Treating at The Bazaar  Boo! We love Halloween at The Bazaar. Bring your little ones and trick or treat with us! Free Halloween Air Brush Tattoos from 11-1 by Suzy of Troll Fairy Designs.  Live Music with Tyler Vaden.  COSTUMES ENCOURAGED!

OCT 30TH Costume Strut (Venice) Show off your Halloween costume in Downtown Venice on SATURDAY, October 30th from 2pm to 4pm! Strut around Tampa, Venice and Miami avenues while you shop and dine in your costume!

OCT 30TH  SCSO Drive-Thru Halloween  Drive thru Halloween put on by Sarasota County Sheriff's office.  Plenty of candy and safe fun!   6PM to 8PM.

OCT 30TH Sarasota Farmer's Market Dog-O-Ween Costume Contest Get creative with your canine!  Sarasota Annual Dog-O-Ween costume contest is back!  Share this event and invite your friends to join you on Saturday, October 30th at the Sarasota Farmer's Market Halloween Festival. 

OCT 30TH Halloween Safe Treats 2021  Come to the Chamber and participating businesses (North and South Siesta Key) marker by festive balloons that will hand out treats to children in costume.  1-4PM

OCT 30TH Trunk or Treat at Bedrock Church Sarasota  Costumes, Candy, food, music and fun.  6:30PM

OCT 30TH Ascension Lutheran Trunk or Treat is an evening full of fun games, decorated vehicles of all kinds of crazy styles, and OF COURSE lots of candy! Join us for this super fun family event, absolutely FREE and open to the public. 

OCT 30TH AND 31ST Big Cat Habitat's Wild-OWeen Pumpkin painting, pumpkin bowling, rubber duckies, individual trick-or-treat bags, mummy wrappy & costume contests and more! Pony rides, face-painting and a petting zoo are also available!  All Halloween activities are included with admission to the park!  12PM-4PM

OCT 31 Candy Carnival at Oasis Church Join us for a fabulous Fall event for the whole family! Kids of all ages can Trunk or Treat (costumes welcome), go on a Hayride, and visit the Petting Zoo! Older kids will love our 40ft Slide, 65ft Obstacle Course, Bungee Trampoline, and Rockwall!  There will also be a bounce house just for toddlers, carnival games, and face painting!  Dinner is on us and additional food can be purchased from on site food trucks. 6PM-8:30

OCT 31ST Fall Festival at Restoration Fellowship Free Community Event: Live Music, Games, Food, Hay Rides, Face Painting and More!

OCT 31 BooFest at the Lakewood Ranch Farmer's Market  Head over to the BooFest section at The Market on Halloween Day, 10/31 for trick-or-treating, food, and more! 10AM-2PM

OCT 31ST Family Fall Fest  There will be live music from Krossing Jordan, chance to win a Turkey, Trunk or Treat, Bounce House, Bake Sale and Craft Fair, lunch provided, fire truck for the kids to climb on, and so much more. It's all free, come out and have a good day with your family!  12PM-3PM

OCT 31ST Bayshore Community Church Fall Festival  Join us for fall fun including obstacle courses, a petting zoo, a trunk or treat, a costume contest, FREE food and a live concert.  4-6PM

OCT 31 Light the Night Trunk or Treat at Church of Hope Sarasota  We’ll have trunks chock full of goodies for you and your kids to enjoy.  There’ll be games, fun, and of course candy!This year we're also adding some inflatables and food trucks!  6-8PM

OCT 31ST Fright Night on St Armands Circle transforms St. Armands Circle from island sophistication to Halloween fun. Decorated store fronts set the stage for wandering spirits of St. Armands past; frightening characters appear around every corner amidst statues dressed in the Halloween spirit. Children trick-or-treat throughout the Circle

NOV 6TH Free Fall Fest Join us for a completely free, KID-FRIENDLY event! This is one of the most fun events of the year - here are just some of the things you can enjoy at the festival: Carnival Games, Bounce Houses, Food Trucks, Live Music, Artisan Market, Fun & Games





NOV 25- DEC (select days) Gallaghers Pumpkin and Christmas Trees Gallaghers Pumpkin and Christmas Trees Open 9a-9p 7 days a week Closed from Oct 31st to Nov 20th photo opps, dog friendly, kid games, snow cones and more!  

OCT 1ST-31ST  2021 2nd Annual Fall Adventure Festival and Haunted Maze at Springtime Farms Adventure Park in North Fort Myers (30 Acre Farm).  Tickets are Available at the farm, ages 2 and under are Free 300 animals that you can hold touch and feed, Pumpkin Patch, Petting Zoo, Two 70 Foot Jumping Pillows, 7 Large Water Slides, Haunted Maze,  Haunted Trail, Haunted Hay Ride, Butterfly Experience, Bird Aviary, a Scavenger Hunt and more.  7 Days a week in October from 9PM-5PM and Friday and Saturday from 7PM-10PM 

OCT 2ND-31ST  Brick or Treat Saturday and Sundays at LEGOLand  Don’t miss the spookiest, kookiest trick-or-treating party of the year! Our kid-friendly Halloween event returns with tons of spooktacular sweets, meet-and-greets with exclusive creepy-cool LEGO® Halloween monsters, larger-than-afterlife LEGO® build activities, limited time seasonal themed snacks PLUS BOO-tastic nightly fireworks to create the ultimate family Halloween celebration– all included with regular day admission and select Annual Passes.  

OCT 2ND-31ST  Sesame Street Kids' Weekends at Busch Gardens   Kids of all ages can enjoy this Halloween season with an expanded trick-or-treat Candy Trail and festive furry friends at Sesame Street Kids' Weekends at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This family-friendly event takes place every weekend in October in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area and is free with park admission. Saturdays and Sundays in October.

OCT 9TH-24TH  10th Annual Fox Squirrel Corn Maze in Plant City  Family fun on the farm.  Fun Duck races, Gigantic slingshot, can you hit the scarecrow?, Cornhole Game-challenge your friends to a game, Dummy Steer Ropin’, can you rope a steer?, farm animals, Butterfly Garden*, Horse and Pony rides *, and live entertainment.  

OCT 10TH and 11TH  Armature Works 3rd Annual Heights Fall Festival  Come by and purchase a pumpkin, pose for photo-ops, listen to live music, get a snow cone and kettle corn for the kiddos, and grab an Octoberfest brew from our craft beer corner on the pier! Attendees who donate 5 or more non-perishable food items to the food drive will receive a voucher for a complimentary 81Bay beer.  10AM-5PM

OCT 23RD  Tall Tales of Old Florida Explore Tampa’s 19th century living history museum by night.  Along the way, meet storytellers who will spin wild yarns about a few of Florida’s unexplained oddities!  A little scary, a little funny and always family friendly, the Tall Tales tour is a Florida history adventure by lantern light.  Not for children under 6 years old.  

OCT 30TH  Tampa Riverwalk Trick or Treat This is a FREE community Event along the Tampa Riverwalk! Children in costume and their families are invited to come and trick or treat along the Riverwalk. We will have several treat stations participating from Water Works Park to USF Park, including Curtis Hixon Park. At conclusion of the event, we invite you to stay for the Lighted Halloween Boat Parade along the Hillsborough River.

NOV 6TH  Tampa Riverwalk International Fall Food and Arts Festival 10AM-4PM



SEPT 10TH -OCT 31ST  (Select Nights) Busch Gardens Hall-O-Scream Fear returns to its most immersive form with the return of iconic horror-filled haunted houses to terrify guests at Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream, Tampa Bay’s BIGGEST haunt event. Park guests will find nowhere to hide as zombies, deranged clowns, werewolves and new surprises stalk their prey throughout eight scare zones, and unpredictable roaming hordes lurk in the darkness. Beyond the haunts, killer entertainment can be found on stage with “Fiends!” returning to the Festival Field and last year’s best-kept-secret “The Rolling Bones” performing electrifying rock covers at Dragon Fire Grill. OCT 1ST-31ST (Select Nights)  UNDead in the Water at the American Victory Ship  UNDead in the Water is Tampa's only authentic nautical haunted attraction. Traverse multiple decks of this historic WWII cargo ship armed only with nerves of steel and a will to survive. Avoid being eaten by the infected zombie stowaways while the Ripper Squad Decontamination Crew fights for humanity's very survival.
