Sarasota City YMCA Summer Camp 2025

Dates: June 2 – August 8, 2025
Camp Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Sarasota City YMCA (1075 S. Euclid Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237**
Registration Fee: $40 (one-time) + $25 non-refundable weekly deposit per child
Camp Options, Pricing, and Availability


Traditional Camp (Ages 5-12) – Offered Weeks 1-10
• Members: $175 per week
• Non-Members: $220 per week
• Activities: Group games, arts & crafts, science projects, reading, swimming, and fun competitions.
• Special Features:
• Camp Cup Thursdays – Camp groups compete in exciting challenges to win the title of “Camp Champ of the Week.”
• Fun Fridays – Onsite or away field trips and special activities.
• Swimming: Group 1 & 2 swim on Mondays and Wednesdays; Group 3 & 4 swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Themed Dress-Up Days: Each week features a fun, themed dress-up day to encourage creativity and camp spirit.


Sports Camp (Ages 5-12) – Offered Weeks 3-10

• Members: $193 per week
• Non-Members: $242 per week
• Activities: A different sport each day, including volleyball, basketball, baseball, soccer, and football.
• Structure:
• Morning: Skill-building, drills, warm-ups, and scrimmages focused on the sport of the day.
• Afternoon: Traditional camp activities such as crafts and group games.
• Does Not Include Swimming


STEAM Camp (Ages 5-10) – Offered Weeks 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9
• Members: $201 per week
• Non-Members: $253 per week
• Weekly Themes:
• Week 3: Kids Gone Crafty – Hands-on creativity with painting, fabric arts, and unique craft projects.
• Week 4: Sensational Science – Exciting experiments, bubbling potions, and mind-blowing science demonstrations.
• Week 5: Slime Time – Campers will mix, stretch, and create various types of slime with different textures and colors.
• Week 7: Lego Builders – Build skyscrapers, vehicles, and creative structures while learning problem-solving skills.
• Week 8: Art in 3D – Sculptures, clay modeling, and hands-on 3D art projects to bring creativity to life.
• Week 9: Goop & Magical Solutions – Campers will explore gooey, magical concoctions while learning about chemistry.
• Structure:
• Morning: Focus on STEAM specialty projects based on the weekly theme.
• Afternoon: Traditional camp activities such as crafts and group games.
• Does Not Include Swimming


Aquatics (Swim) Camp (Ages 5-10) – Offered Weeks 1-10
• Members: $201 per week
• Non-Members: $253 per week
• Activities:
• Daily swim lessons focused on technique and water safety.
• Water games and free swim time to build confidence in the pool.
• Traditional camp activities such as group games and arts & crafts.


Travel Camp (Ages 8-12) – Offered Weeks 1, 2, 6, 10
• Members: $276 per week
• Non-Members: $331 per week
• Activities:
• Daily field trips to exciting destinations like Adventure Island, TreeUmph, Sky Zone, and more!
• Some days include a mix of onsite camp activities and a shorter field trip, while others feature full-day excursions.
• Travel CITs (Ages 13-15) gain leadership experience while assisting with younger campers.


Teen Leadership Camp (Ages 12-15) – Offered Weeks 1-10
• Members: $175 per week
• Non-Members: $220 per week
• Activities:
• Leadership development, teamwork exercises, and mentorship opportunities.
• Hands-on experience assisting younger campers and leading group activities.
Weekly Camp Themes and Dress-Up Days

Each week features a fun camp theme and a special dress-up day to encourage camp spirit!
• Week 1: Winter Wonderland – Dress in your best winter gear!
• Week 2: Shipwrecked – Pirate Day: Ahoy, mateys!
• Week 3: Sunshine State – Tacky Tourist Day: Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, and cameras!
• Week 4: Career Week – Dress for Success: Show off your dream job outfit!
• Week 5: Once Upon a Time – Heroes vs. Villains: Choose your side!
• Week 6: Survivor – Color Challenge: Represent your team in head-to-toe color!
• Week 7: Character Week – Cartoon Crew Day: Dress as your favorite animated character!
• Week 8: Circus Week – Clown Around Day: Get silly with bright colors and clown-inspired looks!
• Week 9: Ready for S’more – PJ Day: Roll out of bed and come to camp in your pajamas!
• Week 10: Dinosaur Dig – Dino Fanatic: Wear your favorite dinosaur-themed outfit!
Additional Camp Benefits
• Lunch & Snacks:
• Provided daily during weeks 2-9.
• Weeks 1 & 10 require campers to bring a packed lunch.
• Travel campers must bring a packed lunch every day.
• Kona Ice & Pizza Thursdays: Available for purchase weekly.
• Before & After Care: Included at no additional cost (registration required).
