Sarasota Jungle Gardens Zoo Camp is unlike any other camp in the area. It explores nature through hands-on games, crafts, demonstrations and other fun activities! Come explore behind the scenes as you learn about caring for our animals. There’s lots of animal interactions and trekking through the jungle. You’ll see first-hand what it takes to be a zookeeper.

Camp is designed for children ages 6 – 11

There are no prerequisites for any of our camps. We update our program regularly, so whether you’ve been here before or are joining us for the first time, Zoo Camp at Sarasota Jungle Gardens will be a memorable, fun and educational experience for all.  Camp is held approximately 40% indoor and 60% outdoor.

Camp is for making good memories that last a lifetime. We make sure all campers feel welcome, are included and are given many opportunities to make connections with other participants. And, we take camper safety very seriously. All of our counselors are adults that have passed background screening, including fingerprinting, and drug testing. We offer low camper to counselor ratios and children are always supervised. We also require parents/guardians show identification before children are released.
