Stage Door Studios (SDS) has designed an excellent dance and theater program of activities to give children a chance to experience the joy of dancing and creative movement in a fun and loving atmosphere. We are committed to providing a stimulation and adventurous environment to enhance children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and creative growth.
Our Sarasota dance staff will use music, props, costumes and creative movement to introduce children to the world of dance. Students will develop rhythm, coordination, musicality and creativity, as well as the ability to follow directions, interact with peers, take turns patiently and gain self-confidence. Most importantly, our classes are FUN!
Classes are available for students ages 2-18 yrs old. We offer dance classes in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, tumbling, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and competition dance teams. All new students are welcome to come a class. Once you determine your level of study, from basic dance classes to professional dance programs, you can choose a class from our schedule and attend a once week class to unlimited classes per week. At all times, staff is on hand to guide you through our class schedule, and ensure that you have chosen the Sarasota dance class that meet your needs and abilities.
