In December of 2018, Lakewood Ranch Cheerleading was created with the focus of providing quality instruction to those interested in pursuing cheerleading and tumbling. As our program grew, we expanded to working with all ages and types of tumbling interests. From gymnasts to tiny tots, fitness competitors, and even parkour athletes, we provide instruction that teaches proper progressions in floor tumbling. We continue to train cheerleaders in tumbling, jumps, stunts, and dance. Lakewood Ranch Cheerleading offers classes, clinics, private lessons, open gyms, summer camps, and gym rentals. It is also the second training location for the Nationally and World Ranked Florida Top Dog All-Stars. Currently, Florida Top Dog All-Stars is home to over 350 athletes with locations in Largo and Bradenton, Florida.
Classes at Lakewood Ranch Cheerleading are broken down by ages as well as skill levels. We offer tumbling class levels based on the United States All-Star Federation Guidelines for competitive cheerleading. Our Fundamental Program is for ages 3-5. The Pups Program is geared for ages 5-8 and our older athlete program is for ages 9 and up. Skill levels offered begin with Intro to Tumbling followed by Levels 1-6.
Lakewood Ranch Cheerleading offers a variety of clinics throughout the year. Each month we aim to provide a little extra training for those who want to improve specific skills! Flyer Flexibility, Stretch and Jumps, Stunting Walkovers, Back Handspring Shaping, Back Tucks, Front Tumbling, Acro, Twisting, Combo Tumbling, and So Much More!
Are you wanting to work one -on-one with an instructor to get a little more attention? We offer private lessons to train your athlete in all levels of cheerleading and tumbling. Book a lesson today to get additional training in jumps, flexibility, stunts, and tumbling.
Come play at Lakewood Ranch Cheerleading on Open Gym Nights. Open Gym is offered on most Friday evenings from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. Pre-registration is required. Visit the Lakewood Ranch Cheerleading Portal to register and pay ($15 per person).
