The Sarasota Ballet School is Now Enrolling for this School Year

The Sarasota Ballet School offers high-quality ballet education for ages 3 and above. We believe that ballet training should not only be fun and creative but should also develop students’ confidence and celebrate their individualities. We offer an inclusive and nurturing environment with a family feel and a wonderful community of parents.

The School is subdivided into Primary Levels (ages 3 – 7) and Levels 1 – 4 (ages 8+). Not only do students receive the best technical training, but they are also guided by our caring teachers who nurture their students’ love for dance. All faculty are former professional dancers and experienced educators certified to teach the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum.

The Sarasota Ballet School is the only ballet school on the Gulf Coast attached to a world-renowned, professional ballet Company. This exceptional partnership offers students unparalleled opportunities to learn and be inspired by seasoned professionals. This enriches their training with invaluable real-world insights and experiences and allows them the opportunity to attend select Company performances. Under the leadership of Jennifer Welch Cudnik, entering her second year as Principal, the School maintains its esteemed reputation as the premier center for ballet training in Sarasota.

The approaching Fall semester presents an ideal opportunity for newcomers to join The Sarasota Ballet School's vibrant dance community. Enrolled students of all ages will have the opportunity to perform at both the Venice Performing Arts Center and the Sarasota Opera House in December for the School’s annual production of The Nutcracker, with auditions beginning the first week in September.
