It takes about $1000 to serve one child per school year and we are committed to raise all we need to keep all 8 tutoring sites open in the fall of 2023.

THE GOOD NEWS

We have been given the opportunity to at least match TWO $25,000 gifts that have been committed to Avenue.  If we raise this additional $50,000, we will have what is needed to keep our eight locations open this next school year!

So, we want to spend the next 9 days on a campaign sharing 9 ways that Avenue941 is impacting the next generation in Manatee County.  We have already shared 4 of the 9 ways we champion students:  Academic Progress, Builds Character, Career Mentors, and Discipleship. Follow along to learn the additional 5 ways we make an impact!

We provide access to technology, school supplies, snacks, a School District teacher, Samaritan Counseling services, a penpal program, a high school internship and more. We serve students K-12 to keep sibling groups together and to give high school students the opportunity to earn service hours for Bright Futures Scholarships.

About the 9-4-1 Matching Campaign Marlin Yoder, a local realtor, has committed to a $25,000 donation. We are believing for 225 people to give $111.11 to match this gift.  Since it costs about $1000/year to serve one student for the school year, when 9 people give $111.11 each, they collaboratively support one student to be part of Avenue, receiving academic and spiritual support.  We are calling this the 9 - 4 - 1 campaign.  Can you partner with us to support a student?
