Learn to Row this summer with Sarasota Crew! Open to kids entering 3rd-12th grade with no rowing experience. Learn from one of the top rowing clubs in the country in a fun, two-week or one-week long session of getting on the water and learning the sport.
Session One: June 12 - June 23, 2023
Session Two: June 26 - July 14, 2023 (with July 3-7 OFF) - One week sessions available also
Session Three: July 17 - July 28, 2023
Camp General Information
- See descriptions of camps and levels of clinics below to determine which camp/clinic you should register your child for
- 8am - 12pm (Clinic 2 for returning rowers starts at 7:30am)
- Monday through Friday
- Clinics will start at our 343 Palmetto Ave location on Day 1. We do have a second location at 150 Bayview Lane, Osprey if we need/want to spread out to it.
- All Camps and Clinics run simultaneously. Every summer we have 30-40 staff and volunteers that work with our summer camps. Our staff are professional and well respected across the country.
Summer Camp Details
- Register for Camp if you are a new rower of any age - Elementary School (beginning with 3rd grade), Middle School, High School OR if your child is a returning Elementary or Middle School rower that will be in our Elementary or Middle School program next year.
- Rowers are grouped by age and skill level.
- Camp is $250 for a two week session. We do offer the ability to sign-up for session 2 as one week long camps for $150 either week.
Clinic 1 (for those entering HS program in the fall) Details
- Register for Clinic 1 if you are a returning Middle School rower who is planning to row in the High School program in the Fall (8th graders are allowed to enter our HS program if they choose to).
- Clinic 1 is $400 for any two week session (there are three sessions offered)
Clinic 2 (for returning HS team members) Details
- Register for Clinic 2 if you are a returning High School rower (or have experience from another High School program) with at least one year of HS rowing completed. This program will train with a high performance expectation. We will be able to challenge all levels of returning rowers no matter your experience level.
- Athletes will be expected to bring enough fuel with themselves to train from 7:30-12:00 each day. Land and water sessions will be completed.
- Clinic 2 is $800 for any two-week session (there are three sessions offered)
- Please note Clinic 2 participants are expected to arrive by 7:30 am (not 8:00 like the rest of the levels).
