New Year's Eve at UTC Have little ones with early bedtimes? Ring in 2023 early at UTC’s family-friendly New Year's Eve event from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Partygoers of all ages can celebrate with live music, face painting and entertainment on The Green at UTC, plus a free showing of Frozen with a special visit from Elsa and Anna starting at 6:00 pm in the outdoor theater near Ford’s Garage. The festivities will conclude at 9:00 pm with a fireworks show and balloon drop on The Green.
Annual Pineapple Drop and Block Party The big New Year's Eve party in Sarasota is the annual Pineapple Drop Block Party! The dropping of the big glowing pineapple comes at midnight and takes place at the intersection of Lemon Avenue and Main Street in downtown. The actual pineapple drop is the highlight of a party that includes a wide range of entertainment and attractions throughout the day, starting from 1pm and running right through 1am.
Main Street Live! Downtown Bradenton This is downtown Bradenton's most popular street party it's back and better than ever!! The street is closed to vehicular traffic as vendors and awesome local food trucks line the streets and live music plays throughout the night! Music kicks off at 6:00pm.

St Armands Circle Winter Spectacular
The Park at St. Armands Circle will be transformed into a winter wonderland beginning November 18th through January 3rd during The Winter Spectacular, a family-fun holiday experience for all ages. Featuring ice-skating, festive rides, interactive holiday activities, and a fantastic lineup of free local entertainment – Circle visitors will leave inspired by the magic of the holidays. The atmosphere of the park will be illuminated by an incredible display of holiday lights, including the city’s magnificent 60-foot Christmas tree.

JAN 1 First Day Hike and Scavenger Hunt Start your New Year off on the right foot with a hike in the park & a fun scavenger hunt. Hike the parks trails to find hidden signs. Take a photo and return to the Nature Center when you have found all your clues. Clues will be available the morning of the event from the Ranger Station or Nature Center Hunt Booth. Easy & assessable trail also available. Regular park entry fees apply. Event is free. 9AM-1PM
