Snowcat Ridge is Florida’s only alpine snow park with real snow, featuring a 400-foot-long snow tubing hill, 10,000-square-foot snow play dome, outdoor ice-skating ribbon and oval, Eskimo Outpost with private party igloo rental, Alpine Village with food, drinks and shopping, and a magical music and light show every night.
Between last year and this year, the park has invested over $6 million in updates. Last year, Snowcat Ridge debuted two new attractions: the Crystal Ribbon and the Eskimo Outpost. The Crystal Ribbon is 16,000 sq ft with a 600-foot long ice skating track and beginner’s oval, and the Eskimo Outpost offers eight rentable private igloos to provide guests with a VIP experience.
The park also debuted all new food options last year with food trucks sourced in house. Snow-tubing lanes have been expanded, as well as tandem and 10-person group tubes being added last year. This year, snow will be blown on the snowhill, updates to the Crystal Ribbon have been made and a new snowcat machine will be implemented to increase snow making capabilities by 50%.
