Light Displays, a favorite family tradition for many! Enjoy these light displays from the comfort of your vehicle or on foot. Here is a list, including neighborhoods that dress up sidewalks and homes for all to enjoy.
Ongoing- Jan 15 Nights of Lights at The Bay Sarasota As the sun sets on our palm and oak grove, the twinkling of holiday lights rises amongst the canopy leading to the newly restored bridge over the bayou. We invite you to delight in this festive glow during the season of light.
NOV 20 The Mall at UTC's 5th annual Santa's Grand Arrival Celebration Kick off the holiday season with a magical parade where Santa arrives in Sarasota with a fun-filled parade, then light-up the UTC Districts, followed by the first Festival of Lights show of the season, and end with a spectacular fireworks show!
NOV 27 Light up Siesta Key and Village Holiday Parade Festive décor and holiday atmosphere will Light Up Siesta Key. The Village Holiday Parade will begin at Avenida del Mare and Beach Road at 5:30 PM. Visits with Santa begin at 6:30PM.
DEC 3-5, 10-12, 17-19 HOLIDAY MAGIC ON EAST GRAND Join The Mall at UTC as we bring holiday festivities to our East Grand Entrance during the first three weekends in December. These magical, family-friendly events will feature free holiday performances, character dance parties, a kids craft series, Saturday night fireworks, "Snow Much Fun" Sundays, nightly snowfall and more!
DEC 2 Sarasota Menorah & Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration at Five Points Park. Join Ring Sarasota, the area's premiere handbell ensemble, as they “ring” in the season with many of your holiday favorites at this year’s annual Christmas tree lighting. Make sure you see Santa, talk to Santa! Many merchants have extended hours. 6 PM – 8 PM in Five Points Park!
DEC 3 Holiday Night of Lights on St. Armands Circle The event begins with a special performance at 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Join in with our annual Christmas Carol Sing-a-long beginning at 6:00 pm, followed by “Santa’s Arrival” in his spectacular sleigh and our tree lighting ceremony. 5:30-9PM Photos with Santa are available throughout the evening from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
Dec 4-29 (select nights) Holiday Tour of Lights Join Siesta Trolley as we cruise through the best and brightest neighborhoods in the area. These homes, each year, light up for all our enjoyment, they love sharing the Holiday spirit as much as we do! Trolleys depart at 6:15PM and 8:15PM

Antzcak Christmas Lights (Colonial Gables Neighborhood off Bee Ridge and Honore) Enjoy driving through a festive neighborhood with Christmas lights galore, pass under a tunnel of lights and be sure to stop at the Antzcak house for an extra special display!
Cedar Hollow Christmas Display Come see the neighborhood Christmas light display put on in Cedar Hollow. A neighborhood full of lights and a road covered with arches. Starts Thanksgiving night and is ongoing. Check the FB page for updates
Lights of Palmetto Enjoy a Christmas light display set to music. Also the Santa mailbox will be set up so be sure to bring your letters! Free. First night starts at 7:45PM and then 5:45PM. The show will run until 11PM on Friday and Saturdays and 10:30PM on Sunday to Thursday.
Enander's Winter Wonderland Every year we open up our yard to the community and invite anyone to see our Christmas light display. We have over 350,000 lights and 400 lit figurines

DEC 3,4, AND 5 Star Town Christmas Village Take a step back in time and experience a Sweet Shop, Free Gift Shop/Gift Wrapping for kids, Candle Dipping, Barber Shop Quartet, Riverview HS Chorus Carolers, Family Photos Ops, Hands-on-Crafts, Hot Cider/S'mores, Corn Popping, Kids Games, Christmas Hay Rides, Mini-Farm Animals, a Wood-shop, a Live Nativity at the stable every hour and MORE. FREE. 6PM to 9PM.
DEC 16-19 The Tabernacle presents The Living Nativity A 45 minute performance with live animals. 7:30pm
