Besides traditional summer camp, many kids look forward to attending a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program in the summer. We have compiled a list that will help out our Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Venice parents plan VBS registrations! Also included are ongoing specialty youth ministry programs, such as one-on-one tutoring, sports camps, and skate outreaches and camps.

LIVING LORD LUTHERAN CHURCH "the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" A Veggietales VBS

Bayside Kids Camp is a four day kids conference from 9am – 5pm, located at our East Bradenton Campus. Children will learn Biblical truths, build relationships, and grow closer to God, all while having the time of their lives! This event is available for kids who have completed Kindergarten – 5th Grade.

CHURCH OF THE REDEEMER "I AM"

SARASOTA BAPTIST CHURCH "Kidventure: Wilderness Escape"
At Kidventure, we want kids to have fun while learning more about God and His love for us - and tell others about it! From 9AM - 11:45 AM, kids will worship together, play games, and experience "life in the desert with Moses"! This year, we are offering a sports camp add-on to Kidventure! Beginning at 12:30, campers who choose this option will transition to sports camp until 2:30 PM after lunch (campers participating in sports camp must bring a lunch). Open to completed grades K - 5! Kidventure is completely FREE, but there is a $10 fee for the sports camp add-on.
VENICE
MEGA SPORTS & CREATIVE CAMP 2021
3-year-olds through graduating fifth graders have the opportunity to participate in either soccer, basketball, baseball, art, or dodgeball. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! Kids of all ages will also enjoy upbeat rallies filled with energetic music, fun sports stories, ultra cool visual learning experiences, and Bible stories that will help them discover character traits that can help them excel in sports and in life. This FREE camp will take place at Laurel Nokomis Elementary School on Wednesday, July 28 - Friday, July 30 from 6:00 PM - 8:30PM REGISTER HERE

Winter is FINALLY coming this summer 2021 at Bradenton Christian Reformed Church. Calling all brave Knights, entering Pre-K through entering 5th grade, for a quest in search of the King’s Armor. Kids will take on the role of brave Knights this year and begin their quest each session by opening the King’s Book. They’ll explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor - the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation - at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God. AVENUE 941 (Bradenton, FL)
Neighborhoods transformed through character development and academic success. Our desire is to see churches reach out to students in their neighborhood throughout the week to tutor, mentor and empower them, giving them hope for their futures. Avenue 941 provides one-on-one tutoring. More details coming soon!
Geared for middle school and high school aged students interested in skate boarding. There are three outreach locations, Bradenton, Sarasota and Venice with an additional meeting on Siesta Key Beach on Tuesdays at 5:30pm. More information and details to come!
Soccer Camp at FIRST BAPTIST VENICE
Now offering two weeks to choose from, Soccer camp is a wonderful opportunity for kids to get introduced to the sport of soccer or improve their skills. This is an intro/beginner level camp that will be coached by VHS Ladies who are State Champion winners in the sport of Soccer along with some well experienced male players as well. The cost for camp includes a t-shirt, cooling towel, snacks, water, and Gatorade.
