Here is a little kitchen inspiration for this Valentine's Day- Heart shaped Waffle Pops! My girls and I had fun making these festive treats, this was a very simple project, and they are so darn cute!! If you want something to spruce up the Valentine's table, you can quickly throw these together for a Valentine's themed brunch.
What you'll need:
- Waffle mix
- Mini heart shape waffle maker or simply cut regular shaped waffles into hearts
- Half cup baking chips, we used white
- Sprinkles, color is up to you!
- Popsicle sticks, parchment paper and scissors
1. On the stove top, get a double boiler going to melt the baking chips
2. While you are waiting for the water to boil, make one batch of waffles, according to your mix's instructions.
3. Remember to stir your chips while the waffles are cooking.
4. Once the waffles are done and slightly cooled, bring them to the double boiler and pour the melted chips carefully over half of the waffle. Next, place your frosted waffle on parchment paper and start sprinkling/decorating any way you like.
5. Carefully insert Popsicle sticks in waffles and enjoy!
