Light Displays

Dec 6-Jan 6 Lights in Bloom Selby Gardens  Over one million lights will illuminate the garden and walkways will be transformed into sensory light tunnels.  Santa and his elves will be there (prior to Christmas Eve), children's crafts and more.  

Dec 7-30  Holiday of Lights Tour SRQ Trolley  A must for your Holiday Family Fun! See some of the exceptional Holiday displays in the Sarasota area.

Holiday Lights Spectacular at Sarasota Jungle Gardens TBA  Joy filled activities include roasting marshmallows and s'mores over an open fire, visiting Santa, watching live entertainment and other family-friendly fun

Dec 11-Jan 6  Enander Winter Wonderland A Spectacular lights display- over 2 acres of lights to walk through and enjoy!

Living Nativities

Dec 7-8  The Living Nativity Join us for a walking tour through our outdoor scenes with live animals and actors depicting the events surrounding the birth of Jesus.

Dec 13-16  The Living Nativity  Join The Tabernacle Church for their annual live performance of The Living Nativity.  

Dec 15-16  Live Nativity at Suncoast Baptist  Join our live presentation of the Christmas story. You can walk or drive through this free community event.

Parades

Dec 1 Venice Christmas Boat Parade of Lights  Come and kick off the Christmas season by watching the annual Venice Boat Parade!  Boats will be starting above Albee Farm Road Bridge, heading south with turn around before Circus Bridge.  Starts at 6PM.

Dec 1 23rd Annual Sarasota Holiday Parade  High school marching bands, area churches and nonprofits, local businesses and of course the big finale - the arrival of Santa Claus - make this a beloved kick-off of the holiday season.

Dec 8 33rd Annual Sarasota Holiday Boat Parade of Lights  Come down to the waterfront and watch the Sarasota holiday tradition on the water!  Boats are lighted and decorated for spectators to enjoy!

Dec 8 AMI Annual Christmas Parade  The parade will go the entire length of the Island ending at Coquina Beach, where Santa will board our Flagship “Skullywag” for all the kids to sit on Santa’s Lap. Pizza, Hot-dogs, Chips and Soda will also be provided for all the kids.

Dec 8 Poinsettia Festival and Parade  This fun-filled holiday festival will feature a tree lighting ceremony, food vendors, entertainment, performances by local school choruses, attractions, vendors, and so much more.
