Fall and Halloween Events Worth the Drive

While there are so many great Fall and Halloween events going on in our area- You might just be up for a mini road trip!  See below for some great ideas!  


Select nights beginning August 17 through October 31 - Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween (Orlando) - It's the happiest haunting on Earth! Don't miss your chance to collect candies, sweets and other frightfully delightful treats all while the park hosts grim grinning ghosts, eerie entertainment and Disney characters that go bump in the night.

Select nights beginning September 14 through November 3 - Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights (Orlando) - Explore terrifying haunted houses, make your way through multiple scare zones where creatures lurk around every turn, enjoy outrageous live shows and enjoy  many of the park's most exciting rides and attractions. Not recommended for small children.

Select nights beginning September 21 through October 28 - Busch Garden's Howl-O-Scream (Tampa) - Unexpected terrors lurk around every corner, including hundreds of roaming creatures, new haunted houses and exciting, live interactive entertainment.  Plus enjoy Florida's top thrill rides in the dark. Not recommended for small children.

Select nights beginning September 21 through November 3 - Scream-A-Geddon (Dade City) - Florida's premier horror park featuring 5 haunted houses and the monster midway.  Not recommended for small children.

Select nights beginning September 22 through October 28 - Sea World's Halloween Spooktacular  (Orlando) - Enjoy this daytime underwater "fantasea" which includes trick or treating, whimsical pumpkin fish, sea-themed arts and crafts and up-close and personal animal encounters.

October 21-22, 28-29 - Cornfusion Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch  (Lakeland) - Family Fun for everyone!  Includes an 8-acre corn maze, bounce pillow, farm animals, swings, see-saw, horse shoes, duck races, hay rides, pumpkin patch, cornhole, corn barn and more.  Plus Little Farm Land for small children and The Zombie Farm if you dare! 

October 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28 - Fox Squirrel Corn Maze  (Plant City) - This festival features a corn maze, pumpkins for sale, hayrides, games, vendors, music and simply enjoying the great outdoors.

September 22 - October 31 - Screamin' Green Hauntoween (Orlando) - Spooky and colorful fun awaits at Crayola Experience - make a monster-rific craft, go on themed scavenger hunts, trick or treat and more!

October 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28, 31 - LEGOLAND Brick or Treat (Winter Haven) - The Halloween party built for kids, to include trick or treating, themed fireworks, LEGO build activities, character meet and greets, new entertainment and more.

Select nights in October  Creatures of the Night at Zoo Tampa  Friday and Saturday nights after 4PM in October.  Creatures of the Night returns even spookier than last year, for ghouls and goblins of all ages! The Zoo transforms into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure for the whole family. Creatures emerge at dusk with startling surprises around every corner. No horror or gore, just fun frights for all!
