A Chance to Run will be holding its annual summer clinic at Riverview High School June 4-7th. Coach Paul Williams, a certified USATF coach & professional trainer will be overseeing our local High School Athlete Coaches. Kids learn about each of the track & field events, proper warm up and staying hydrated in the Florida summer heat. Ages 10-16 welcome. The camp runs from 9 am to noon. Meet new friends and have fun running on the track! Attendees receive a free shirt & water bottle. Registration is now open! Spaces are limited. Learn about the sport! Try new events! Arts a Blaze is a Paint your own Pottery and Glass Fusing Studio. While we specialize in pottery painting, offering over 500 pieces to chose from, we also offer glass fusing, glass painting, Pre-K events, Homeschool events, Ladies Nights, Team Building, Etc.
Camp Osprey
Enjoy adventures every day at this weekly overnight camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. Horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, ziplines and a rope challenge course are just some of the activities to be enjoyed!

Longwood Athletic Club is a private tennis club in the Longwood Run neighborhood. There are 18 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, swimming pool, fitness room and more. Junior tennis lessons and camps are provide year round by Next Generation Tennis Academy. Adult tennis clinics and lessons are also available.

Ringling College Summer Studios
Ringling College of Art + Design Summer Studios lets you explore, create and discover at one of the world's premier art and design colleges. Tweens, teens and adults can choose from a variety of studios and labs including drawing, painting, filmmaking, character design, experimental animation, game art, Z Brush, photography, digital video production, mixed media, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and creative writing. Choose from one and two week sessions as well as morning, afternoon or full day sessions.
Summer film camps offered by the Sarasota Film Festival, with different weekly themes and experienced industry professionals who will teach the campers aged 7-18 the ins and outs of creating amazing videos and films. Every week, the participants will make short films that are screened for friends and family at the end of the week. Camp begins June 4th and the last week of camp begins July 9th.

SURFit USA Paddleboard and Surf Camp
SURFit USA has been operating in Sarasota for the past six years. As transplants from Hawaii, we have decades of experience on the water paddling and surfing and are happy to bring that knowledge and experience to our current home in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.
Our programs appeal to all ages and skill levels and include beginning classes, advanced SUP training, surf lessons, SUP SURF lessons, kids teams and youth summer camps. Our kids stand up paddleboard and surf camps are very popular and fill up each summer. Our guides and coaches are trained lifeguards and certified SUP instructors by the Association for Surf Instructors.
The Venice Symphony
The Venice Symphony is in its 44th year. Our professional orchestra performs from November through May at the Venice Performing Arts Center. The Symphony has been a leader in music education for nearly 30 years. Our Symphony in the Schools program brings an interactive music curriculum provided by The Carnegie Hall Weill Music Institute to more than 2000 Sarasota County students each year.

Zoo Camp- Sarasota Jungle Gardens
Sarasota Jungle Gardens is home to more than 200 native and exotic animals including birds of prey, many different species of parrots and macaws, primates, small mammals, dozens of snakes, lizards, iguanas, alligators, crocodiles and other reptiles - many of them rescued or donated - including Florida's noted pink flamingos. All nestled within 10 acres of lush tropical landscaping connected by winding jungle trails. The fascinating flamingos are a favorite among visitors who travel from all over the world to see the long-legged, pink-hued wading birds. The flamingos are not shy and often greet guests personally, sometimes face to face. You might catch them splashing, flapping and strutting around. One may hand-feed them or just view them strolling by. Other times one might see the joy and thrill in a child's first wide-eyed encounter as they interact with the flamingos, egrets, ducks, swans, pelicans and other wildlife just passing through.
Some other noteworthy features of the Gardens include daily bird and reptile shows that are as educational as they are entertaining. The after show question and answer time and a wide variety of one on one animal interactions, including holding and posing for pictures, provide the reason many folks come back year after year. For the youngest visitors, our playground, feeding our Koi fish, sounding the 'all aboard' signal on our beloved wooden choo choo all provide countless hours of fun.
