2017 Spring Break Camp Guide

What are your little ones doing March 13th through 17th? I present to you Macaroni Kid Sarasota-Venice’s 2017 Spring Break Camp Guide. Take a look at all the FUN camps in our area, and make sure to tell them that Macaroni Kid sent you!



Florida Studio Theatre 

FST is hosting two great camps for Spring Break! In the Children's Performing Arts Camp kids ages 6 to 12 will build acting, voice, improvisation, and dance skills in a spirited and supportive environment. In the Teen Improvisation Camp teenagers ages 12 through 17 will explore the fun and spontaneous world of improv!

GTFL Athletics

GTFL Athletics Spring Break Camps are offered for children ages 5 to 13 years old. Camps at GTFL Athletics feature games, arts & crafts, contests, open gym, and FUN! Children bring their own lunch or purchase a pizza lunch for $5. Call, email, or stop by to sign up!

Mote Marine Laboratory Spring Camp

Mote Spring Break Camps are offered for students currently enrolled in 1st through 8th grade. Camps are single day running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with optional before and after camp care for an additional cost. Each day has a different animal theme so campers can join in for their favorite day, or come the whole week. Through exploration, hands-on activities, and experiments, campers will get an in-depth understanding about the animal of the day.

Music Compound

Whether your child is interested in piano, songwriting, percussion, vocals, or audio production, Spring Break camp at Music Compound has something for everybody! Music Compound offers Programs for all ages.

NBP Youth Aquatics Camp

Morning instruction is an introduction "Learn to Row" course.  The design focuses on introducing campers to the sport of rowing and to offer a new opportunity to improve their health and wellness.  If you choose to continue on for the full day camp, your camper will have lunch and continue on to learn additional aquatic sports such as kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, dragon boat, boating safety education, RC sailboating, and more!

Acrofit
Campers will enjoy gymnastics, themed crafts, games, and more.

Boys & Girls Club
Teens can earn up to 35 hours of community service while having fun with their peers.

CapoKids
Much more than martial arts, Capoeira has it all! Kids will learn about their character and more.

Humane Society of Sarasota County
During our two-day camp, campers will meet shelter pets and other exotic animals, including llamas, sheep, reptiles, and more!

Rosaire’s Riding Academy
Kids can ride horses, play with ponies, cuddle our new baby goats and much more.

Sarasota Jungle Gardens
Explore nature through hands-on games, crafts, demonstrations and other fun activities!

Sky Zone Sarasota
Kids cycle between Freestyle Jump, Dodgeball, Sky Slam, Foam Zone, Sky Wars as well as organized games and activities for a break from jumping.

Sarasota YMCA
When school is out, Sarasota YMCA camps are here to nurture the potential of all children and help them grow in spirit, mind and body.

Venice Theatre
Kids will advance their acting, voice and movement skills during this theatrical adventure. No class demonstration, just lots of fun!

Venice Youth Boating
This week-long class is designed to provide basic sailing and teamwork skills.
