My Trip to Crayola Experience

My family had the AWESOME opportunity to visit Crayola Experience in Orlando for my son’s birthday. It was so much fun! If your kids love art, coloring, or crafts, you must bring them to Crayola Experience.

Within two seconds of arriving at Crayola Experience my son’s mind was blown. The over sized crayons and markers at the entrance are fun to look at even as an adult. So you can imagine how exciting it was for a 4 year old!

When you arrive at Crayola Experience you are given a bag with tokens. The bag is so handy for all of the art projects and Crayola loot you’ll acquire throughout your time there. The tokens buy you fun things like markers, modeling clay, and (my son’s favorite) personalized crayons. We had so much fun in the Wrap It Up station picking colors, carefully designing our crayon labels, and then wrapping our crayons in our special labels.

Art Alive! was also a big hit with my little guy. At this station, you get to digitally color an underwater creature which is then projected on the wall in an underwater seascape. My son thought it was so cool that he could watch his fish and crabs blow bubbles and swim around while he chased them.

Two of my son’s absolute favorite spots at Crayola Experience were Rainbow Rain and Stomp and Play. At Rainbow Rain you can catch and move digital dripping wax. We had a great time watching our shadows dance through the different colors. Stomp and Play is a fun interactive floor. Your little one can run across it giving the floor the effect of splashing water or wax. There are also fun games on it too!

Honestly, I would love a room in my house just like the Scribble Square station. Little ones can draw on EVERYTHING in this semi-open room. There’s a car, dog, trees, and more that kids can doodle on with markers. The rest of the area is like a giant blackboard for kids to scribble on with chalk. My son loved that he was finally able to draw on the floor and walls without getting in trouble!

Another great thing about Crayola Experience? Some of their attractions have themes. September was Pirate Adventure Month. My son got to paint a parrot pal that we cut out, glued together, and presto! He had a parrot pal on his shoulder!

From October 7th to 31st it is Screamin’ Green Hauntoween at Crayola Experience. Kids can create monster-rific crafts, snap spooktacular character photos, and there’s even trick-or-treating on the weekends!
