The Sarasota Medieval Fair is coming! The event will be held at the Ringling Woods behind the Sarasota Fairgrounds on Nov. 5-6, 12-13, & 19-20, 2016 from 10AM to 5:30PM.
You won’t want to miss the jesters, minstrels, belly dancers, wenches, knights, and sword swingers! Check out fan favorites like the Washing Well Wenches, Human Contact Chess Match, and full contact jousting. That’s not all though! Each weekend features a new line up of different nationally renowned acts! There’s also a new artisan marketplace that features over 100 shops, food, and snack booths.
This year’s theme is the Siege of Château de Châlus-Chabrol that took place April 6th, 1199 AD. Whose side are you on - The French or the English? Find more information on King Richard, the rebellious French vassals, and the epic battle that ensued here.
