* Crayola Experience, Orlando's most colorful attraction located in The Florida Mall, celebrated its one-year anniversary on July 1. "Since the day we opened our doors, the Central Florida community has welcomed and embraced us, and we have been very grateful for that," General Manager David Norton said. "We wanted to give them something in return - and what better than a birthday present?" To that end, Crayola Experience will launch a permanent Free Birthday Program, through which guests can receive free admission within 7 days of their birthday. Offer valid in-person, once a year, with proof of birthdate, such as a driver's license or birth certificate.
* Military families also can take advantage of Crayola Experience's True Blue Heroes program. Active and retired military can get in free with valid I.D. four times a year: the weekend of Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day and Memorial Day. The immediate family members of these brave men and women also will receive 50% off.
* Families can also take advantage of the 50% Off After 5 program, which gives guests 50% off admission after 5 p.m. This will be a boon to mall shoppers who may want a colorful way to end the day, Norton said.
* Also exclusive this summer is a rare deal on Annual Passes: The attraction will offer a family 4-pack for just $99.99 (a $39 savings.)
The iconic crayon purveyor opened Crayola Experience Orlando, the second location for the brand, on July 1, 2015, and has since opened a third facility at Mall of America in suburban Minneapolis. The original attraction is in Easton, Pa., home of Crayola since 1903.
