The deadline for your middle or high school aged child to join the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Class of 2017 is approaching!
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) is a 9 month long after school program for kids to learn how to become successful business people. With YEA, students from grade 6 to 12 will be guided through generating business ideas, conducting market research, writing business plans, pitching to investors, and launching their very own businesses. Students will do everything an adult would do when starting a business – from registering their DBAs to filing their taxes!
Help prepare your child for the real business world while also helping them learn about their self-esteem, personal potential, and leadership skills. Want to find out more about YEA? There is an information session on Thursday September 8th at 5:30PM at the State College of Florida in Lakewood Ranch (7131 Professional Parkway East) in Room 140.
